Posted on 04/26/2023

On March 21, 2023, the Stanwood-Camano School District Board of Directors approved new attendance boundaries to balance the uneven enrollment in our five elementary schools.

For families of students who will be attending new schools starting in fall 2023, here are a few resources:

Open houses

Look out for a welcome letter from your student’s principal in the upcoming weeks inviting your family to an open house to meet staff, learn about additional resources, and explore the school.

Meals

Parents can find prices, menus, and other helpful resources on our Food Services webpage

Transportation

Information about bussing is available on our Transportation Department webpage. Bus routes for the upcoming school year are created during the summer. By August, families will be able to view their student’s bus route via our online Versatrans system.

New boundaries

Families can read about the work through the past school year to balance elementary school enrollment on the Capital Facilities Advisory Committee (CFAC) webpage The new boundaries come after months of work analyzing enrollment data, transportation information, and community feedback. View the new maps on our Attendance Area Boundaries webpage.
